Multichannel Fulfillment

Amazon’s move to next-day and then to same-day delivery has put a spotlight on the final delivery of orders to the customer. Multichannel retailers are responding with next-day delivery (and in some cases same-day) by leveraging store fulfillment capabilities. These in-store capabilities include both customer pick-up and delivery to customer, with final delivery either in the store, to lockers, or to the home.
